Deb actively contributes to the community through her involvement with CHEER LA (www.cheerla.org), a nonprofit adult cheerleading squad. This group not only promotes team spirit and athleticism but also channels its energy towards raising funds for HIV/AIDS-related charities, showcasing Deb's commitment to making a positive impact on public health. Additionally, she extends her compassion to the WeCare Program, which provides support to women recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Deb's dual commitment to both HIV/AIDS and breast cancer causes exemplifies her altruistic nature, demonstrating her belief in the power of community and advocacy for those facing health challenges.
Deb enjoys spending time with her menagerie of rescue pets – she is a Certified Vet Assistant accredited from Penn Foster College who uses her talents to help rescue animals. Know as “Debbie Doolittle” since a young age, she has volunteered as a foster mom to over one hundred orphaned dogs, kittens and cats through her work with Beach City Kitties, Cats at the Studios, Carson Cats, Camp Cocker, Best Friends Animal Society, FixNation, Los Angeles City and County shelters and the Atlanta Humane Society. Her previous dog Copper was a Certified Therapy Dog with Pet Partners for over 10 years and as a team they would visit the sick children at Children's Hospital Los Angeles twice a month to make their days brighter.
